Privacy policy

Last updated: 5 November 2026

Aesthetic SHOP is an affiliate shopping directory. We do not sell products, take payments or process orders. This policy explains what happens when you browse the site and what choices you have.

Information stored in your browser

Wishlist items, comparison selections, recently viewed products, search history and your light or dark theme preference are stored in your browser's local storage. They stay on your device, are not sent to us, and are removed when you clear your browser data. You do not need an account to use any of these features.

Information we receive

When you submit the contact form or newsletter form on a locally hosted preview, the message is stored in a local file on the machine running the preview. On a hosted deployment, these forms only send a message when a form endpoint is connected. We do not collect payment details, passwords or order information because none are processed here.

If we enable analytics, the site can send page views, product views, searches, share clicks and affiliate-click events. Analytics IDs are empty until an approved measurement ID is added. When configured, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, a Pinterest Tag, a Meta Pixel or another approved measurement tool may set cookies and receive limited technical information such as approximate location, device type, referring page, campaign parameters and the pages you visit.

Optional analytics and marketing scripts do not load until you accept them in the cookie banner. If you choose “Essential only”, the site records no analytics events and loads no third-party measurement or advertising code. Your choice is stored in your browser and can be changed from the “Privacy choices” link in the footer.

Affiliate links and merchant tracking

When you click a price button, you leave Aesthetic SHOP and open the merchant's website. The merchant and its affiliate network may set cookies or receive a tracking identifier to attribute the visit. Their privacy policy applies from that point. We do not control their data practices and do not receive your payment details.

Advertising

Advertising slots are empty placeholders until an approved ad network is connected and ads are enabled. AdSense or another approved provider may then use cookies or similar technologies under its own policy. Advertising scripts load only after you accept optional analytics and marketing in the cookie banner. See our advertising disclosure for details.

Sharing and social networks

Product and article pages include share buttons that open Pinterest, Facebook or X in a new tab, or copy a caption for Instagram. These buttons are links, not embedded social widgets, and do not contact those networks until you click them. If a Pinterest Tag or Meta Pixel is enabled, those scripts load only after you accept optional tools.

Your choices

• Choose “Essential only” in the cookie banner, or reopen it from the “Privacy choices” link in the footer.
• Clear local storage in your browser to remove wishlist, comparison, history and consent data.
• Use private browsing to avoid persistent local storage between sessions.
• Block or delete cookies in your browser settings; this may affect analytics and merchant attribution but not the core browsing experience.
• Contact us through the contact page with a privacy question or request.

Children

The site is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the site or its integrations change. The date at the top reflects the latest revision. For questions, use the contact page.
